The Couple Next Door now has a regular Friday Happy Hour gig from 5 to 8 p.m. every Friday night at The Chicken Ranch. 14051 W. Grand Ave.

The trio is the newest band to play the West Valley. Gaylan and Em Taylor of Sun City, along with their neighbor Steve Godfrey, play rock and rocking country dance music.

Reservations are suggested by calling 623-248-6628.

“When Em and I first got together as co-writers, writing and recording our original songs, we just clicked,” Gaylan said. “We found that we were drawn to the same kinds of music and vocal style then we found that we were pretty drawn to each other, too.

“When we became The Couple Next Door we wanted to showcase our vocals, which is what makes us a little bit different than a lot of other bands.”

Visit thecouplenextdooraz.com to listen to the live performance samples the band has uploaded, or call 623-566-1132.
