Connie born in Wauseon, Ohio, January 4, 1938 artist (oil painter) and long-time resident of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away peacefully at the age of 83. She was known for her paintings of a glowing candle - a theme which she truly mastered. Her paintings have been exhibited in numerous galleries and art shows like the Lost Dutchman Days, Superstitions of the Artists, Thunderbird Artists, and a 48”x96” painting “Last Stage From Goldfield” in the collection of the Superstition Mountain Museum. She owned/operated the Art Illusions Gallery for more than forty years, during this time she has opened the doors for others to appreciate and enjoy the art. Through the years she has won countless awards and recognitions, held numerous memberships and offices in associations and leagues and taught hundreds in classes.
