Church continues series with information, entertainment, meal

American Lutheran Church of Sun City, 17200 W. Del Webb Blvd., continues the Wednesday Night Alive series Nov. 16.

At 4 p.m., retired Lt. Col. Kathy Gallowitz will give a talk on “Beyond Thank You For Your Service.” Gallowitz explains how civilians can provide meaningful, practical support for veterans and those in active service, and so become a “Veteran Champion.”

At 6 p.m., pianist, composer and arranger Nicole Pesce will entertain with her blend of virtuosity, humor and pizazz for a program called “Thanksgiving Feast.”

There is no charge to attend the two programs.

In between the programs, at 5 p.m., there will be a catered meal of roast turkey and all the fixings. Tickets for the meal cost $12 and must be purchased by noon the preceding Monday, Nov. 14.
