Beaudry: New bylaws already set before input in Sun City

Posted

I just finished reading the article on changes to the bylaws.

Just to be straight, a committee was formed to look into changes then the public input was removed. Now the committee can write the changes they want, then send it to a lawyer for review then the board sees it. At that time the public sees it for their input after everybody on the board has already made their decision on how to vote.

No wonder people want more transparency. If Mr. Lenefsky would take charge of the meetings and control the public everyone would benefit.

I have been to several meetings and most were a nightmare. The only things that should be brought to meetings that the public should not see are employee issues and contract negotiations. Public input should always be first.

Thanks for your time.
