Arizona Eye Institute & Cosmetic Laser Center is hosting its annual holiday food drive. The vision and cosmetic practice will be collecting food at all three locations throughout the month of November to support the community and the Valley View Community Food Bank.

Donations will support families throughout the holidays, from Thanksgiving until Christmas.

“One of the things that has kept me in love with this community and serving the residents here now more than 30 years, is the generosity of heart that is displayed throughout the year,” said Arizona Eye Institute’s founder and medical director, Emilio M. Justo, M.D. “It is especially welcome during the holiday season, when we should all be enjoying our families and friends and giving thanks, not worrying about where we will find our next meal. Thank you to everyone who helps us to put food on our community’s plates this season.”

Valley View Community Food Bank’s most needed items include canned fruit and vegetables, canned meat, canned beans and soup, cereal, whole grain pasta and rice, peanut butter, hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.), paper products like toilet paper and paper towels, household cleaning items, nutritional shakes or drinks for seniors, and items for infants and children (diapers, wipes, pedialyte, granola bars, macaroni and cheese cups, infant cereal, fruit cups, crackers and juice boxes).

Food may be donated at three offices during office hours:

· Sun City West at 19052 N. R.H. Johnson Blvd.

· Sun City at 10701 W. Bell Road

· Wickenburg at 500 W. Savage St.
