AAUW members talk transition

The American Association of University Women, Northwest Valley transition meeting was May 5, where 18 newly-elected officers and recently appointed branch position chairs were in attendance.

There was discussion about using technology to move forward, fundraising, the increased costs of meals and room rental and upcoming branch events.

AAUW advances gender equity for women and girls through research and education, promoting equity and education for women and girls.

AAUW provides the opportunity to join a circle of women intent upon breaking through educational and economic barriers to enable women and girls to enjoy success in their community and personal lives.

Membership is open to anyone holding an associates degree, bachelor’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
