Wanda Agnilska Sidlauskas (nee Shlaitas) of Sun City West rejoined her husband of 57 years, Joseph John Sidlauskas, March 12, 2021. Awaiting her arrival in heaven were Wanda’s beloved parents, Konstant and Mary Annie (Vaišnoraitė) Shlaitas; and three sisters, Julia Simoneau, Helen Babcock, and Annie Publicover. Three children mourn her, Joseph Eric Sidlauskas (Kay), Patricia Wanda Hiscock (Charles), and Stephen Brian Sidlauskas. Nine grandchildren were blessed to call her “Grammie” – Laura, Charles Glenn, James, and Philip Hiscock; Brian, Joseph, Eric and Adam Sidlauskas; and Wendy Smithberg. Fourteen great-grandchildren carry on her legacy. Wanda was proud of her Lithuanian heritage. Her determination and independence belied a soft heart and deep love for her family. She had a unique ability to relate to anyone, regardless of their age. Wanda had a lifelong desire to learn and was a self-taught expert on nutrition. She was an avid gardener, natural cook, talented seamstress and beautiful knitter. She volunteered at Chez Nous for 20 years. Wanda was laid to rest in her beloved Gilmanton, N.H. on June 5, 2021.
