Vacation Bible School Oct. 1-3 at Mountain View Lutheran Church

Posted

Children ages 4 and older are invited to the free Oct. 1-3 Vacation Bible School at Mountain View Lutheran Church, 2122 S. Goldfield Road in Apache Junction.

“Families and elementary-aged kids are welcome to join us this Oct. 1-3 at Mountain View Lutheran Church for our fall Vacation Bible School, “‘Rocky Railway, Where Jesus' Power Pulls Us Through,” according to a release.

Register at mountainviewlutheran.org.

“Kids will be amazed as they partake on a journey through scripture that sees Peter and John stand up for their beliefs, Ananias overcome his fear and meet a bully named Saul, and we will also see Saint Paul give reassurance to a crew of sailors after their boat is shipwrecked. Finally, on Sunday afternoon, we will point our families to Christ and his death and life for us all,” the release states. “In addition to our Bible stories, we will have a rocking good time as we roll through each day with songs, crafts, games and meals.”

Vacation Bible School starts at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, with a family dinner; continues 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct 2, with lunch provided; and is also held noon-3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct 3, with lunch provided.

“Join us this fall for a fun-filled family adventure focused on the power of Christ,” the release states.
