The Vault Auto Storage to host Scottsdale business owner’s private car collection

Posted

LGE Design Build recently broke ground on a new luxury  storage facility, the Vault Auto Storage, that will be partner to Evans Classic Auto, a Scottsdale-based restomod and classic car shop.

The Vault Auto Storage will be in the Scottsdale Air Park at 15882 N. 77th St., in Scottsdale.

The Vault will house the private collection of cars and car-related memorabilia of Evans Classic Auto owner Ron Evans, according to a press release. Restomods are a classic car that's restored, but modified with modern components.

Mr. Evans’ personal collection ranges from European exotics to classic muscle. Favorites in his collection include the McLaren 570, Porsche GT3 RS, Ford GT and Shelby Cobra.

Collectors and car enthusiasts will be able to store their own high-valued vehicles in the space where collection maintenance, detailing and routine service will be part of the customer experience, the press release stated.

“We are delighted to team up with LGE for construction on our new state-of-the-art, climate-controlled vehicle storage building in north Scottsdale,” said Mr. Evans. “My wife and I are lifelong car enthusiasts, and we look forward to creating a community with those of similar passions, while offering personalized service and support to their vehicles.”

The new 15,931-square-foot warehouse-style building broke ground in late-January, and construction is currently underway. The facility will feature an open floor plan with a consignment showroom, state-of-the-art security and automated access to enter and exit.

“The focus of the architectural design was to allow the cars to take center stage,” said Mike Russo, architect and designer at LGE Design Group. “The structure was designed to span 106 feet without any interior columns, allowing maximum vehicular movement and configurations in the space. The exterior design was made to match the aesthetic of the cars as well, in a word: classic.”

The facility also boasts a modern, intimate office, and a clubhouse lounge and kitchen space to host private events.

“The Vault came together as the result of the vision of its founder, Ron Evans, and we are honored to help him achieve that vision,” added Mr. Russo.
