The city of Tempe unveiled its schedule for Memorial Day on May 30, including what will be open and closed on the day.
Emergency Services, including police and fire, will be unaffected.
The Tempe Municipal Court, Tempe 311 and customer services will all be closed. Bills can still be paid online.
Bus and rail services will operate according to holiday/Sunday schedules. The Tempe Transit Store will be closed. Info is available at tempe.gov/TempeinMotion.
Residential garbage and recycling collection will be unaffected.
Parks and Recreation options will vary:
- Kiwanis Recreation Center, located at 6111 S. All-America Way, will be open from noon to 6 p.m. and the pool will be open from 1-5 p.m. The Tennis Center will be open from noon to 6 p.m.
- The Kiwanis Park Batting Range will be closed.
- Escalante Pool, 2150 E. Orange Street, will be open from 1-5 p.m.
- McClintock Pool, 1830 E. Del Rio Drive, will be open from 5-9 p.m.
- The Cloud at Kiwanis Park, 5233 S. Ash Avenue; Esquer Park Splash Pad, 2407 E. McArthur Drive; Hudson Park Splash Pad, 1430 S. Cedar St.; and Jaycee Park Splash Pad, 715 W. Fifth St. will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Tempe Public Library, the Tempe History Museum, the Edna Vihel Arts Center and the Tempe Center for the Arts will all be closed. The Petersen House Museum is currently closed for the season.
The Cahill Senior Center, the North Tempe Multi-Generational Center, the Pyle Adult Recreation Center and the Westside Mult-Generational Center will also be closed for the day. The Escalante Multi-Generational Center, located at 2150 E. Orange Street, will be open from noon to 5:30 p.m.
Both Tempe golf courses, including the Ken McDonald Golf Course, located at 800 E. Divot Drive, and the Rolling Hills Golf Course at 1415 N. Mill Avenue, will be open from sunrise to sunset.
