Surprise opens rec leader position
Posted
By Independent Newsmedia
The city of Surprise has officially opened the position of director of the Parks and Recreation Department.
According to the city, it’s looking for an “experienced servant leader to support and guide an accredited” department with the departure of former Director Donna Miller.
The application period runs through Sunday, May 30, and the city anticipates filling the position in July.
“Strong candidates will be visionary team leaders who exhibit high energy and an entrepreneurial spirit,” city officials wrote in a news release. “They will have experience across a variety of parks and recreation operations and have a proven record of thinking big while following through with tangible, high-value results.”
