After reading Jonathan Cooper’s biased and obvious left leaning column in the Nov. 18 Daily Independent, I can only conclude that he doesn’t understand that there was gross and numerous irregularities in Maricopa County’s election process on Nov. 8.
Had he taken the time to do any research he would have known that Arizona’s Attorney General is launching an investigation into this situation and that the State Legislature is being asked to nullify Maricopa’s returns and to run this election again in this county.
While it is highly unusual, considering the gross irregularities, the other candidate should have not only recused herself from the process and should not have been present when the tabulations were done.
If this process continues, we will never have fair elections in this state.
