The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for southbound Loop 101 between U.S. Highway 60 and Loop 202 Santan Freeway in Mesa/Chandler to be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, April 29, through 4 a.m. Monday, May 2, for pavement maintenance.

The southbound Loop 101 ramp to east- and westbound U.S. 60 will remain open, according to a release.

For a detour, drivers can detour along southbound Price Road (frontage road) or consider using southbound McClintock Drive or Dobson Road as alternate routes.

ADOT advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while work is underway.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.
