Surprise residents who did not receive a National Community Survey (NCS) by mail can now take the survey online.

Visit polco.us/sthyap and share thoughts on Surprise as a place to live and work. Chime in on transportation, public safety, youth services and more through Friday, March 26.

Resident input helps the city determine its strengths and weaknesses. It also helps to identify priority projects for Surprise and indicates where limited city funding should go in order to provide the services most desired.

Households that received a mailed paper survey or a postcard with an online option can participate through either option.

The NCS is conducted by the Polco/National Research Center of Boulder, Colorado, and takes less than 15 minutes to participate.

Here are some important privacy details regarding the survey:

• Polco keeps individual opinions anonymous to the city, while allowing city staff to see broad demographic and geographic breakdowns.
• Online participants will be asked to provide an email address and zip code to submit the survey, ensuring one response per person and residency.

When the survey closes and Polco compiles all the data, the city will share the responses at surpriseaz.gov/NCS.

Results are expected to be released by May.
