Shannon Faulkner of Gold Canyon was among the nearly 1,800 undergraduate, graduate and professional students conferred their degrees in December at the University of Iowa.
Faulkner was a student in the graduate college and received a master of accountancy, according to a release.
Despite the challenges of navigating their college education through a pandemic, Hawkeyes such as Faulkner persisted. They continued to excel and stretch; to engage and choose and serve, the release states.
