The Scottsdale Society of Women Writers will host a guest speaker event featuring Jessica Morrell, long-time author, editor and instructor on June 30 at 6:00 p.m.

As a part of its mission, Scottsdale Society of Women Writers gives its members access to events, a place for exchanging ideas, an alliance with writing professionals, and an opportunity to network with other women writers and authors.

Hosted via Zoom, members and guests should log on at 5:50 p.m. to allow for set-up and for some pre-speaker small talk. 

This speaker event will cover competing in the fiction writing market and improving one's storytelling abilities from Jessica Morrell herself. 

Morrell is the author of six books and has a very healthy interest in immersive storytelling, story structure, character arcs, vivid language and etymology.

Throughout the event, she will share her experiences and advice on writing fiction and developing strong stories with those in attendance.
