The Scottsdale Police Department arrested six more individuals related to the ongoing investigation of the Scottsdale riots on May 30 --- bringing the total number of arrests to 53, officials said.

Valley resident Jesus Sierra, 19, was arrested and charged with burglary and trespassing, police officials say. Video evidence shows Mr. Sierra was one of the first people to enter the Apple Store at Scottsdale Fashion Square when the glass windows were broken, police say.

Mr. Sierra was injured by the broken glass, and investigators were able to identify him from evidence at the scene.

Police say Mr. Sierra resisted arrest and was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia when detectives contacted him.

Lanay Bailey, a 19-year-old Valley woman, was arrested and charged with trafficking stolen property. Police say stolen merchandise was recovered during the investigation.

Valley resident Joseph Michael Garcia, 33, was charged with trafficking stolen property. Police say stolen merchandise was recovered during the investigation.

Girlfriend and boyfriend Serenity Mansfield, a 19-year-old Valley woman, and Keanu Yazzie, a 24-year-old Valley man, both were arrested and charged with burglary and trafficking stolen property.

Jose Ramos, a 20-year-old Valley man, was arrested and charged with theft. Stolen merchandise was recovered during the investigation, police say.

This brings the total number of arrests to 53 for crimes committed during the May 30-31 civil unrest. The investigation is ongoing, police say.

“We are continuing to actively follow up on evidence, tips and information in a commitment to bring those responsible for criminal acts to justice. We will continue to provide updates as they become available,” Scottsdale Police Sgt. Benjamin Hoster said in an email.
