Ruth Muth Skriden

Ruth, 85, of Sun City West, AZ, went home to her creator on Wednesday, May 22, 2019. Ruth was born on the Southeast side of Chicago, on November 20, 1933. Ruth attended Chicago public school from Kindergarten through Chicago State University. She received a Master's in Education Counseling. She also had 50+ hours in Administration.Ruth retired as a Principle of Keller Gifted center at the age of 58.Ruth married Harold C. Muth in Chicago in 1955. Harold passed away after 43 years of marriage to Ruth. Ruth then married Leroy "Jack" Skriden in 2004 in Sun City West, AZ. Ruth was widowed when Jack passed away in 2014.Ruth has been an active member of Crown of Life Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod in Sun City West, AZ. Her heart and soul has been serving on the Mission Board, since 2004. A Celebration of Life will be held at Crown of Life Lutheran Church, located at 13131 Spanish Garden Drive, Sun City West, AZ on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. Sue and Paul Stuempfig and Byron Blackmorre played and sang at Ruth & Jack's wedding in 2004, and they will be singing at Ruth's service along with Byron Blackmore accompanying on the Organ. Pastor Phill Robbins, Pastor Gary Smith and Pastor Will Krueger will be sharing life stories and reading from the Bible during the service for Ruth. Ruth was the youngest of 7 children, belonging to Charles and Mary Markusic.Ruth will be remembered by her sister Helen, nieces: Kathie Stelmaszek and Joan (Darryl) Krall, many other family members and precious friends. Ruth touched many lives throughout her life here on earth, she will be missed greatly.Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, CA. Ruth will be at rest with her first husband Harold C. Muth. Contributions in memory of Ruth, may be given to Crown of Life Lutheran Church for their Mission Board.
