"Rod was deeply loved by his family; he will be forever missed."Robert passed away on April 25, 2019. Known to friends as "Rod". He passed away at home in Sun City West, AZ.Rod was born in Erie, KS to Clifford and Evelyn Audiss. At about 10 years of age his family moved to Long Beach, CA.Rod is survived by his wife, Diane along with their five children, Craig Clinkenbeard, Brian Ray, Kristin Lizotte, Karen Clinkenbeard and Robert Rodney Audiss Jr. He is also survived by his sisters, Shirley DiMaria, Sharon Ichacawa and Jack Audiss.Rod graduated from Milligan High School in 1960. After graduation he entered the marine engine field where he worked for over 50 years, he owned his own Boating establishment, earning the Mercury Marines "Master Mechanic Award", and several other awards through the years.Rod enlisted in the Air Force in 1965 during the Vietnam Conflict, he was stationed at March Air Force base. Rod and Diane married in 1974, they raised their five children in the city of Orange, CA. They retired and eventually moved to Sun City West, AZ. His memorial service was held at Little Church by the Sea in Laguna Beach, CA on May 25, 2019.
