Roadwork scheduled for next week in Apache Junction

Street maintenance is scheduled Nov. 30-Dec. 4 for several Apache Junction locations that will result in lane restrictions.

The scheduled road projects are for the application of pavement preservation treatment and are as follows:

  • Dec. 3-4, Ironwood Drive from Apache Trail to Broadway Avenue is scheduled to have lanes closed or restricted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Access to businesses will be maintained.
  • Dec. 1-3, Ironwood Drive from Tepee Street to Lost Dutchman Boulevard is set for lane closures or restrictions from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Access to driveways may be restricted for short periods to allow pavement treatment to cure.
  • Nov. 30, Baseline Avenue from Ironwood Drive to Idaho Road is scheduled to be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. East and westbound traffic on Baseline will be detoured to Southern.
  • Dec. 4, Baseline Avenue from Idaho Road to Winchester Road is set to be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. East and westbound traffic on Baseline will be detoured to Southern Avenue.
  • Nov. 30, northbound Idaho Road from Lost Dutchman Boulevard to McKellips Road is scheduled to be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Traffic will be detoured to Ironwood Drive. Access to driveways will be maintained.
  • Dec. 1, southbound Idaho Road from Lost Dutchman Boulevard to McKellips Road is scheduled to be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Southbound traffic will be detoured to Ironwood Drive.
  • Dec. 1, eastbound Broadway Avenue from Old West Highway to Goldfield Road is set to be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Restrictions to driveway access can be expected to allow pavement treatment to cure.
  • Dec. 2, westbound Broadway Avenue from Goldfield Road to Old West Highway is scheduled to be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Restrictions to driveway access can be expected to allow pavement treatment to cure.
  • Dec. 3-4, Main Drive and Ocotillo Drive from First Avenue to Broadway Avenue and First Avenue from Ocotillo Drive to Stardust Lane are scheduled to have lanes closed or restricted from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Access to driveways may be restricted for short periods to allow pavement treatment to cure.
