Rachel McLeod Donohoe passed peacefully away, surrounded by family, on September 18, 2022, at the age of 93, in Sun City West, AZ. She was born April 7, 1929, in Bellingham, Washington, the youngest of 5 children. She was predeceased by her siblings, Robert McLeod, Margaret Pease, Mary Ann Wilson, and Don McLeod.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Dick Donohoe, a retired attorney. They have lived the last 22 years in Sun City West, but resided most of their adult life in California, where they raised 5 children, Teri Marquez, Rich Donohoe, Bill Donohoe, and Robin Neal. She was predeceased by daughter, Patricia Donohoe. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
She enjoyed golfing, quilting, needlepoint, and sewing. She very much enjoyed her time she spent at Rip n Sew in Sun City West with many friends. She was also active at the Palm Ridge gym and pool.
She will be interred at Palm West Community Church on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022 at 2pm, followed by a celebration of life at 3pm at her beloved home of 18 years.
