The Queen Creek Police Department’s (QCPD) is joining forces with the Pinal County Attorney’s Office to host “Coffee with a Cop.”
According to a press release, the community event will be on Tuesday May 17, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Starbucks located at 20824 E. Riggs Road on the corner of Riggs and Hunt Highway. Coffee will be provided courtesy of Starbucks and doughnuts will be provided courtesy of the Pinal County Attorney’s Office.
The Coffee with a Cop events are part of QCPD’s ongoing efforts to engage with the community. Residents will have a chance to meet and interact with QCPD command staff, the Pinal County Attorney Kent Volkmer and QCPD officers.
“We are extremely grateful to Starbucks for allowing us to host this event and excited to partner with the Pinal County Attorney’s Office for our next event. With Queen Creek located in both Maricopa and Pinal counties, we work with both offices on a regular basis,” stated QCPD Police Chief Randy Brice in the release. “Events like these help us meet the residents we serve and interact with them in a casual environment, which helps us build trust and relationships.”
The Queen Creek Police Department officially launched on Jan. 11.
