The Queen Creek Independent and the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting an in-person Candidate Forum for the Queen Creek Town Council candidates.
Attendees can learn more about the four candidates vying for three seats on the Queen Creek Town Council.
Candidates Bryan McClure, Matt McWilliams, Dawn Oliphant and Travis Padilla are set to attend the forum.
Incumbent Oliphant is hoping to remain on the council. Two seats are open as current Council Member Emilena Turley opted not to run for reelection and Council Member Julia Wheatley is running for mayor.
The forum will be moderated by Queen Creek Independent Editor Janet Perez and Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Chris Clark. Those attending the forum can submit questions in writing, which will be asked by the moderators as time allows.
The Candidate Forum takes place from 6-8 p.m., Thursday June 16 at Communiversity Queen Creek, 21740 S. Ellsworth Road. Admission is free.
