Peoria police locate woman who was missing for 2 days

Peoria police said they have located missing Carol Daly in safe condition.

Peoria police need the public's help in locating Carol Daly, 72.
She was last seen around 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 in thea area of 8600 West Monroe Street, near Peoria Municipal Complex.
She is described as a white female, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white sweater, unknown color sweatpants and grey socks.
Ms. Daly was reported missing to police after she did not return home Dec. 16. Neighbors and friends have not heard from Ms. Daly, which they said is unusual.
She is most likely driving a 2001 grey Buick Century.
According to the reporting person, Ms. Daly suffers from dementia and other medical conditions. She did not take her medications with her. Officers have been actively looking for Ms. Daly but have not been able to locate her. It is unknown where she may have been headed.
