Improving COVID-19 conditions bring change to spectator policy

The OUAZ athletics department has adjusted its spectator policy to allow a limited number of spectators to home events beginning March 1.

In cooperation with the university and the city of Surprise all venues — both on-campus and off-campus — will operate at a limited capacity and with social distancing regulations.

All spectators will be required to sit in the designated seating areas or their reserved seats and be required to wear a mask that covers the nose and mouth while inside the facilities. Guests not following these protocols will be asked to leave the facility.

Everyone attending a home event will be required to have a ticket and will need to perform a COVID-19 symptom and temperature check before entering the facility.

Tickets will be made available in tiers, starting with guests of participating student-athletes and OUAZ students, faculty and staff.

Any remaining tickets will then be made available to the general public on a first-come, first-serve basis. All tickets must be reserved through the OUAZ ticket site at OUAZSpirit.com/tickets, and tickets will not be sold at the venues.

Due to the COVID protocols, previous season ticket holders will not have access to their specific seats or be given early access to purchase individual game tickets for this season. When OUAZ can return to full capacity in our venues, all previous season ticket holders will have the right to renew their previous purchased seats.
