Neely: Arizona’s great because of the freedoms we all enjoy

Posted

Today, our freedoms and the Rule of Law are under attack from the liberal left woke crowd. To remain free, Arizona must be guided by a governor who respects the Constitution and will uphold law and order both at the border and in our streets.

As a true conservative candidate, political outsider, and multiple small business owner from the middle class, I will work to “Free State 48,” fighting against any path that would allow overreaching government control and censorship that would compromise our freedoms.

The left’s socialism and cancel culture will not lead to Arizona remaining free. Our freedom of speech, religious liberty, Second Amendment rights to protect your family, freedom of expression, and freedom to assemble is under attack and with the radical left gaining control of our government, your governor is your last line of defense standing strong at the border and against policies that would further destroy our wonderful state.

As Governor of Arizona, there are all sorts of critical decisions that will fall into the new governor’s hands, including policies, legislation and budgets for everything from the border to immigration, from water to education, from the economy to jobs, from health care to senior care, from better rural community government representation to improved services for seniors, from infrastructure to public safety, and much more.

These issues are far too complex to address within these few written words, so I ask you to learn more about me and the commonsense solutions I will bring to the office. While the other candidates talk about the issues facing Arizona, their solutions are often vague, unattainable, lacking good judgment or business sense.

To hear my commonsense explanations, take a minute to visit my website at www.NeelyForGovernor.com where I have posted short videos explaining how I intend on solving Arizona’s current and future issues.

Like many of you, I have worked hard for a front-row seat in the American dream. For those who are still struggling to attain that dream, as your governor, I will do everything possible to make sure you have a fair chance to share and prosper.

Arizona doesn’t need a former bureaucrat, lawyer, or status-seeking celebrity to guide the state. We need a governor with commonsense, real solutions who won’t govern from an “elite view,” but rather one from a “street view,” where most Arizonans work, live and play.

I am not wrapped-up in old-school, business-as-usual, backroom dealings, partisan political games or flip-flopping disingenuous lies. I promise to represent all the people of the state with integrity and toughness, strength and compassion.

Everything we love about our state is at stake. Arizona needs a well-rounded, business- and infrastructure-experienced governor that can effectively represent small business, the working-class, and all families regardless of economic status, race or position.

The elected governor will have a profound and important impact on the lives of all Arizonans. The next governor of Arizona must be strong and fiscally conservative. Having business sense is critical for Arizona’s governor … having compassion is essential.

You have a choice who you want to run your state. I ask that you’ll strongly consider voting for me in the Aug. 2 primary election. I’m listed third on the ballot, and I hope you consider me your number one choice.

Editor’s note: Republican Scott Neely is a candidate for Arizona Governor in the August Primary election.
