Miller: Livingston living high on campaign donations

Posted

David Livingston would like you believe he is a “conservative” working for you and not himself or his special interest groups.

However, he has past his expiration date for office many years ago and should not be reelected. It is time for someone new.

David supported and voted for the national popular vote, a destructive and unconstitutional action designed to eliminate state sovereignty. David was the sole sponsor of legislation that would have made anyone wanting a license in Arizona to provide a DNA test.

This is not protecting individual rights, in fact it is a violation of your privacy. You want a driver’s license? David believes you should give your DNA. Can you trust him with any of your rights?

David loves to live the high life on your donations and those of corporations and special interest groups that donate for his services. Just look at his campaign expenses for the 2018 elections.

One day prior to the election on Nov. 6, he spends $2,487.51 for a ticket to London. On Oct. 29, he buys a plane ticket for $1,019.95, one week prior to the election. Not much campaigning during this period is normal like this.

He spends $1,553.31 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Washington, D.C., on Dec. 3, 2018, almost a month after the election on Dec. 16, he spends $616.91 at the Mercure Hotel, 73 High Street, Oxford, U.K. He claims all this as a campaign expense for an election that occurred on Nov. 6, 2018.

He can’t go to Dunkin Donuts, Circle K or out for lunch without charging the campaign for his lunch or coffee, even for as little as $6.15!

Some of you may believe this is no big deal, but how is this for his reelection? He has been living the high life on donations, demonstrating, in my opinion, a new low for being morally bankrupt.
