Meet Lashawna – Determined Teens Wishes for Family
Posted
“I want to do hair and makeup so that other people can look beautiful.”
It’s a dream Lashawna has had for years and she works hard to accomplish her cosmetology goals by doing her friends’ hair. The confident teen has a kind and laid back personality that is sure to lend itself in her career choice.
When Lashawna isn’t working on her cosmetology dreams, you can find her writing poerty and love songs with her friends after school. Lashawna is enrolled in honors classes and says that English is her favorite because it allows her to express her creativity.
After school you can find Lashawna watching her favorite TV show, Dr. Who or eating her favorite meal of orange chicken.
Lashawna says she is pretty quiet and likes to go with the flow which extends to what her dream forever family would look like. While she hopes for a mother, father, and younger siblings, Lashawna says, “I just want someone who would care for me and love me for who I am.”
