The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to be aware of work on the new Lindsay Road Interchange project on the Loop 202 Santan Freeway that will require an overnight ramp closure at Gilbert Road.

The westbound Loop 202 off-ramp at Gilbert Road will be closed from 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 1, according to a release.

For a detour, drivers may exit at Cooper Road or Val Vista Drive.

ADOT urges motorists to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while this restriction is in place, the release states.

Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen factors.

For more information, call the ADOT Bilingual Project Information Line at 855-712-8530 or go to azdot.gov/contact and select Projects from the drop-down menu.

For real-time highway conditions statewide, visit ADOT’s Traveler Information Site at az511.gov, follow ADOT on Twitter @ArizonaDOT or call 511, except while driving.
