Posted
The St. George’s Knights of Columbus Council No. 7243 recently made a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Apache Junction.
Grand Knight Matthew Campbell and Community Director Steven Ezyk presented Angela Davis, director of the Boys and Girls Club, with a check for $1,000 on Jan. 7, according to a release.
“This donation will be used for the Apache Junction club. Ms. Davis and her staff were very appreciative of the Knights’ generosity,” the release states.
Over the past 15 years, the Knights of Columbus, Chapter No. 7343, has donated approximately $37,000 to the Apache Junction Boys and Girls Club.
The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization providing members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities’ families and young people.
