Leslie, 90, died Tuesday, June 25th in Sun City, AZ, following a brief illness. He leaves his wife of 66 years, Shirley (Neve); his son, Scott and daughter-in-law, Vicky; his daughter, Debbie (Haagenson) and her husband, Dean; his daughter-in-law, Scarlett; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Born and raised in Minneapolis, MN where he and Shirley raised their family.After retirement he and Shirley moved to Sun City, AZ, and have enjoyed 28 years of retirement. Leslie graduated from the University of MN and served both in the Marines and in the Army.Leslie loved spending time with family and was a huge sports fan. His dry sense of humor was always the life of the party. Leslie was proceeded in death by his mother, Helma; brother, Robert; and son, Jeffrey. A celebration of Leslie's life will be announced at a later date. If you choose to make a donation in his memory the family asks that you donate to the Jeff Hovda Scholarship fund.
