Harry E Vandegrift, Jr., age 82, passed away in his home on October 18, 2021. He is survived by Barbara, his wife of 29 years; her children Jeffrey Sheehan, Jon Sheehan, and Jennifer (Pereda); his sister Betty Lou (Cowley); his children Edwin and Dory (Hogan); and his grandchildren Ryan, Willow, Fayth, Gabriel, Liam, Isaiah and Zavier. He was preceded in death by his daughter Denise (Eagono).

He moved to Sun City, Arizona with Barbara in 2001 and spent his last 20 years enjoying retirement. His hobbies included home improvements (if he wasn't working on a project, he was thinking about the next one); he enjoyed taking his dogs (Becky and Toby) for walks around the block. He liked fishing and was always up for a game of cribbage, and was forever buying or selling one vehicle or another.

He was born in Hatboro and spent most of his youth in Florida, obtaining a B.S. in Finance from Florida State University. He dappled in a variety of careers through his life in PA: banking in Doylestown, owner of a landscaping business franchise in Hilltown, manager of a savings & loan in Perkasie, manager and caretaker of a private fishing club in the Pocono Mountains, proprietor of a restaurant/coffee shop in Freeland, owner/operator of a senior assisted living facility in Hazleton.
