Police are trying to locate a person who displayed a firearm inside a Goodyear store.

No shots were fired, police said.

Around 1:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, Goodyear police responded to the Walmart near Interstate 10 and Estrella Parkway for a disturbance. Police learned a man had displayed a gun inside the store.

Officers arrived and contacted the man, who was uncooperative, according to police. Police said he took off running out the back of the store. He has not been located.

Police had to set up a perimeter around the store, and store management evacuated the building.

The man was described as an Hispanic male, possibly in his mid-30s, 5 feet 5 inches tall with facial tattoos. He was wearing a Dallas Cowboys coat and hat.

Police continue searching for the man. The incident remains under investigation.
