Glendale police detective used a search warrant against a drug trafficking organization to confiscate several pounds of drugs and cash.

The warrant was served on the morning of Aug. 19 near the area of 75th Avenue and Thomas Road. Officers managed to search a home and car in the area, and allegedly located more than $1 million in drugs and paraphernalia. The items seized allegedly include four firearms, more than $20,000 in cash, more than four pounds of Fentanyl powder, over two hundred thousand Fentanyl laced pills, and more than five pounds of cocaine.

Altogether five people were taken into custody.

Police say this remains an active investigation with charges pending. Currently, no arrests have been made.
