Florence Police report car driven into house

Shoplifting reported at 9:47 p.m. June 1, North Pinal Parkway Avenue
Officer was dispatched to a report of shoplifting. Reporting party advised a male subject had stolen a gallon of water. A description of the suspect was provided, and a male matching was detained and returned to the scene. The subject was issued a criminal citation for shoplifting.

Assault reported at 3:04 a.m. June 2, North Pinal Parkway Avenue
Officer was dispatched to a report of an assault by an inmate on staff. No injuries were reported. Charging review packet forwarded to prosecutor for determination of charges.

Domestic violence reported at 2:34 a.m. June 4, North Astoria Drive
Officer was dispatched to a report of domestic violence. Contact was made with parties involved. No injuries were noted, and officer was advised it was a verbal argument. Parties were advised to                separate for the night. Charging review packet submitted to town attorney for determination of charges. 

Traffic accident with Injuries reported at 4:55 a.m. June 5, North Willow and West Ninth Street.
Officers were dispatched to an accident with injuries. Upon arrival it was determined the vehicle failed to stop at the intersection of Ninth and Willow and continued east through the intersection striking  a residence. The occupants of the residence were not injured. The passenger in the vehicle was transported for suspected injuries. The driver was suspected of driving under the influence and a DUI investigation was completed. The subject was subsequently arrested and booked into Pinal County Jail for the following charges: DUI, reckless driving, criminal damage, no insurance for a vehicle and failure to control a vehicle to avoid a collision and endangerment.
