Fifth Annual Trolls Teddy Bear Run Dec. 5

Posted

The Fifth Annual Trolls Teddy Bear Run, benefiting the Mesa Family Resource Center and Mesa’s first responders, takes place Saturday, Dec. 5, in Gilbert.

The entry fee is $10 plus the donation of a clean Teddy Bear or other stuffed animal that will be distributed to one of several nonprofit agencies.

When the event started in 2016, it collected more than 300 Teddy Bears and stuffed animals for the Mesa Family Advocacy Center along with the Mesa Police and first responders, according to TrollsBikerWorld.com.

“The Mesa Family Advocacy Center is where children and sometimes their mothers are taken to make sure that they are safe after something bad happens until things are straightened out. They handle most every case/instance for the entire East Valley and they need your help,” according to the website. “We need as many Teddy Bears as possible this year if we are going to beat the 1,122 Teddy Bears and stuffed animals received last year.”

Time and place are at trollsbikerworld.com/events.
