Edward Joseph Ritchotte

In Loving Memory of Edward Joseph Ritchotte (1943-2019)Edward, age 76, of Sun City West, AZ, passed away at 12:30 A.M., Monday, July 29th, 2019 at his home surrounded by his devoted family. He was born June 1st, 1943 in Lowell, MA, to Albert and Virginia Ritchotte. He married the love of his life, Karen Ritchotte on April 23rd, 1966 and was happily married to her for 53 years. Edward's legacy is perpetuated by his wife, Karen Ritchotte of Sun City West AZ; their children: Nadine Ritchotte and her husband, Troy Hoisington of Denver, CO, Mark Ritchotte of Manchester NH, Heather and Tim Hodge of St. Johns, FL and Jennifer and Albie MacDonald of Ponte Vedra, FL; and nine grandchildren: Elizabeth, Tyler, Devan, Kyle, Albie IV, Caroline, Evan, Kylie and Alahnie. Edward is also survived by his sister, Ann Marie Monteiro and her husband Ronald Monteiro; his sister-in-law; Denise Rondeau and her partner, Willie Doby; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Rondeau and his wife, Pauline Rondeau and Norman Rondeau. Edward graduated from Lowell High School in 1960 and served in the US Air Force from 1960 to 1964 when he was honorably discharged before he was wed.Edward was a long time resident of Merrimack, NH, where he lived with his wife Karen after they married in 1966. Edward worked at Anheuser Busch for thirty three years and retired from there to travel before settling down in Sun City, AZ in 2004. Edward loved to golf, was an avid Boston sports team fan and enjoyed doing extensive home improvement projects. Edward volunteered for The Sun City West Pride, belonged to the Sun City West Boomers, held a membership with Trail Ridge Golf and was an active member of his community. Edward's funeral mass was held on Saturday, August 3rd at 10:00 A.M. at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 14818 West Deer Valley Dr., Sun City West, AZ 85375. There will also be a Celebration of Life held at a location to be determined in October 2019. Details from Eddie's family will follow.
