Drug prevention specialist to speak at Rise Up! Glendale meeting

Rise Up! Glendale will welcome a guest speaker to its meeting next month.

Rise Up! is a group of concerned community leaders and members working to reduce youth alcohol, marijuana, and prescription drug use/abuse in the city of Glendale. Rise Up! began in October of 2020.

Stephanie Siete will provide specific and new information on drug trends directly impacting Glendale and local youth at the meeting that starts at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17 at West-MEC, 5487 N. 99th Ave., Glendale.

For over her 20-year career, Siete has conducted training for the FBI, International Narcotics Interdiction Association, Arizona Chief of Police Association, Arizona School Resource Officer Association, and various High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area teams, as well as local law enforcement and fire department, school districts, community coalitions, parent groups, churches, universities and more.

Siete began her career with Community Bridges, Inc. in 2002 as a drug prevention specialist.
