Sun City Grand dance club plans ballroom gathering

The Sun City Grand Dance Club is celebrating the first of its four special summer ballroom dances Saturday, June 18.
As part of the club’s new collaboration with the Hillcrest Dance Association, members will remember the days of ice cream, watermelon and summer dances in the square.
The Breeze Band will energize ballroom dancers with waltzes, foxtrots, swing and Latin dances.
Dressing to fit the summer theme is optional but no jeans, shorts or flip flops.
Tickets at a special summer price ($10) may be purchased atsuncitygrand.com, at the SCG Activities Desk, 623-546-7449, and at the door.
Snacks and soft drinks welcome. No outside alcohol.
