City of Apache Junction sets holiday schedule for Independence Day
The Apache Junction Parks and Recreation Department will hold Fourth of July activities at the aquatic center and at Apache Junction High School.

The city of Apache Junction will close all administrative offices on Monday, July 4, in observation of Independence Day.
Emergency services through the police department will not be impacted by the holiday, according to a release.
The Apache Junction Public Library, 1177 N. Idaho Road, normally closes on Sundays but also will be closed on Monday. The Paws and Claws Care Center, 725 E. Baseline Ave., regularly closes on Sundays and Mondays. The Superstition Shadows Aquatic Center, 1091 W. Southern Ave., will be open for special Independence Day activities from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Apache Junction Multi-Generational Center, 1035 N. Idaho Road, will be closed Monday.
