Charles Joseph "Chuck" Garcia, Sr.

Charles Joseph "Chuck" Garcia, Sr., 55, went home to be with the Lord in July of 2022. He was born on March 31, 1967, to the late Carlos Garcia and Antoinette Hernandez. Chuck was married to his beautiful high school sweetheart, Victoria. He proudly served his County in the U.S. Army for three years and continued serving his Country with Homeland Security until his retirement. Eventually, Chuck settled to make a home in Mesa, AZ together with his wife and children. On some down time, Chuck loved to go camping, and created lasting memories together with his loved ones. What he loved most was his love of his Country, family, and especially the Philadelphia Eagles. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Carlos Garcia, and Antoinette Hernandez (Garcia); stepmother, Margarita Garcia; sister, Gayle Parent; and uncle, Augustine Garcia. He is survived by his loving wife, Victoria Garcia; children, Angelina, Cecilia, Charles Jr., and Teresa Garcia; sisters, Eunice (Gary) Parent, Ida (Mike) Hernandez, and La Reina Garcia; stepsisters, Linda Lopez, Mary Lou Bejarano, and Frances (Gerry) Goldsmith; aunts, Annie (Ronald) Gomez, Rita (Andrew) Ortega, Irene (Paul) Daniels, Bertha (Arnold) Cabanillas, Josefina (Fred) Feliz, Pauline Schlegal, and Eleanor Garcia; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Visitation was held from 5:00-7:00 PM, with a 5:30 PM Rosary, on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home, 717 West Dobbins Road, Phoenix, AZ. A Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 12, 2022, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 177 East 8th Street, Florence, AZ. A Committal Service will be held on a later date at Florence Cemetery, Salazar Street, Florence, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home, Inc. (602) 276-3601.
