Central Arizona College offering housing relief

Central Arizona College housing and residence life are welcoming students home for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters by offering housing-relief funding support. Students may apply for and be funded up to $1,000 to aid in on-campus housing costs.

Students must be accepted to CAC for the 2021-22 academic year and complete an application (forms.office.com/r/U3HCtPNW98) to be considered. Students will be selected based on need and available funds.

Rosemary Ramirez, Housing and Residence Life Director explains, “We look forward to having students back and living on campus. We are pleased to offer this one-time award to help students get back on track with their education and help with housing needs. Funds are intended to defray but not cover the full cost of housing and a meal plan. Awards may vary and funding is limited. Not all applicants are guaranteed funding, however if selected, the funds will be applied directly to the student’s account.”

CAC housing costs are $1,500 per room each semester and meal plans are $2,150 per semester.

To apply for housing at CAC, students should visit centralaz.edu/reslife. For questions regarding the housing relief funding or living on campus, email rlstaff@centralaz.edu or call 520-494-5470.

Editor’s note: Angela Askey is CAC’s executive director of public relations and marketing.
