Cardinals set training camp opening day in Glendale

10 open practices at State Farm Stadium; free digital tickets required

The Arizona Cardinals open training camp in Glendale this month, with 10 practices open to the public on the schedule.

The Cardinals will open camp Tuesday, July 26 at State Farm Stadium, 1 Cardinals Drive. The NFL’s annual “Back Together Saturday” practice takes place July 30.

The annual Red-White Practice will take place Saturday, Aug. 6.

While parking and admission are free, digital tickets will be required to attend practices.

Season-ticket holders will have the first chance to reserve camp tickets starting at 10 a.m. Monday, July 18 using their account manager portal by clicking here.

All others can begin reserving tickets at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 20 by clicking here. Up to four tickets can be reserved.

The team will open the preseason schedule in Cincinnati on Friday, Aug. 12, two days after the last open practice of the month.

Per the CBA, there can be no contact on the first three days of training camp, with helmets and light practice gear allowed on days 4 and 5. Day 6 must be a day off before full contact and pads allowed starting on day 7. (Any player signed after the start of camp must be allowed five days before wearing pads/going full contract.)

Camp breaks Friday, Aug. 19, the weekend before the Cardinals host the Baltimore Ravens Aug. 21 in a nationally televised Fox broadcast. They close out the preseason with a road game in Tennessee on Saturday, Aug. 27.

The Cardinals open the regular season at home in Glendale on Sunday, Sept. 11 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Practice times are subject to change, with azcardinals.com updating for the latest details. The full expected schedule for open practices is as follows:

  • 1:30-3 p.m. Saturday, July 30: Back Together Saturday (Day 5 of camp)
  • 1-2:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1: (First allowed padded practice)
  • 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2
  • 8:45-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3
  • 8:45-10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4
  • 8:45-10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 5
  • 1:30-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6: Red & White Practice
  • 1:30-3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8
  • 8:45-10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9
  • 8:45-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10

Preseason Game Schedule:

  • 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12: at Cincinnati
  • 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21: vs. Baltimore
  • 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27: at Tennessee
