There are 24 or so “border state” governors meeting with the president regarding the massive influx of border crossers in Texas. Most people will agree that the situation is serious and needs fixing. But, the last I looked at a map, we have only four actual border (with Mexico) states.
I would ask about the motives of these non-border state governors.
Questions: Are you running for reelection? Are you Aspiring to run for higher or other office? Are you pandering to your base in a red (or blue) state? What is your true motive in participating? Are you just wasting the president’s time?
