Buckeye Independence Day Fireworks Show

Posted
The city of Buckeye’s annual Fourth of July celebration will begin at 8:45 p.m. Saturday, July 4, and has been modified to comply with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines on large gatherings of people and physical distancing recommendations. Unfortunately, this means there will be no live entertainment, food and beverage sales, or family activities this year, but residents can pack snacks and drinks and head to Youngker High School for the 20-minute fireworks. Residents can enjoy the fireworks from either inside their vehicles or within their designated parking spot. All food and drinks must also be contained within your vehicle or parking spot. Arizona State law does not permit the consumption of alcohol in vehicles or public spaces. Those who live nearby are encouraged to enjoy the show from their yards. Limited parking will open at 7:30 p.m. and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Some streets surrounding Youngker High, 3000 South Apache Road, will be closed for the public’s safety.
