BUCKEYE — A pair of upcoming events put on by the Buckeye Mainstreet Coalition are aimed at fun that can involve entire families, according to news releases.

“CottonFest on 4th” is a new event that showcases unique and talented craft vendors and artists. This Saturday, Dec. 4 event is set to take place from 9 a.m. to 2p.m. in downtown Buckeye.

In paying tribute to Buckeye’s rich farming history, the street fair-style event will feature items made by local artisans, independently made crafts created with detailed workmanship and a classic car show, making it fun for the entire family.

CottonFest on 4th will draw shoppers from around the Valley looking for unique holiday gifts. This creates an opportunity for artists to showcase one-of-a-kind products.

Caleb Elms of Buckeye and Mayor Eric Orsborn  will act as the parade’s Masters of Ceremonies to announce each float as the entries cruise down the street.

Stick around after the parade. Santa Claus will be in the Buckeye Elementary School gym to take pictures with everyone.
