Bruce of Sun City West, AZ, was born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin June 22, 1927. He returned to his Heavenly Father September 19, 2019.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice, 4 children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Bruce and Mary Alice Hahn were married at St. Ferdinand Church in Chicago May 15, 1954.

Bruce enlisted in the US Navy and was a World War II veteran. He was an accomplished musician who studied at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. After his music career ended, he began an new career in sales and lithography.

When Bruce and Mary Alice retired, they traveled in their motor home until settling in Sun City West, AZ in 1993.

Bruce volunteered as an usher and co-captain of ushers at Prince of Peace Catholic Church for many years; starting at Palm Ridge Recreation Center until Prince of Peace Church was built in 1999. Bruce began volunteering with PRIDES in 1993 until he was unable to continue. He also volunteered with St. Vincent de Paul Society helping out at their Phoenix warehouse sorting food and also visiting poor unfortunate families offering help in any way possible with SVDP aid.

There will be a Memorial Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church November 12, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Inurnment will be at Burlington, Wisconsin in May 2020.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, Sun City West PRIDES or Suncrest Hospice (602-633-1828).
