Betz: Much praise for the previous president’s accomplishments

Thank you, President Trump, for your America-first spirit and policies:

• Restored American trust in our values and our faith in God.
• Revitalized American patriotism.
• Gave us a legacy of hope.
• Protected our religious freedom.
• Defended the lives of the unborn
• Secured fragile peace deals in the Middle East with the Abraham Accords on Sept. 15, 2020, and the normalization of relations between Israel and several Arab countries. No country has done more than Israel to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, and the Trump Administration recognized that fact.
• Halted North Korean missile and nuclear tests.
• Killed two of the world’s most famous terrorist leaders, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi and Qasem Soleimani, and ended the ISIS territorial caliphate
• Educated Americans on China’s true aims and ambitions.
• Strengthened and supported our military by investing more than $2 trillion, which had the collateral benefit of revitalizing morale.
• Cleaned out the Veterans Administration and made sure those who served our country would not be subjected to second- or third-class medical care.
• Showed the rest of the world that America would not be bullied or bent to their will.
• Brought American troops home.
• Created the Space Force.
• Drastically cut illegal immigration across the southern border.
• Attempted to secure the border.
• Built the strongest economy in 70 years with the lowest unemployment rate in 50 years before the pandemic.
• Created jobs and fought against heavy regulations that placed undue burdens on businesses.
• Unleashed American energy with the Keystone XL Pipeline and made us energy independent making our country safe and strong.
• Found a way to pay the interest on the $22 trillion Biden/Obama U.S. bankruptcy debt that even our great-grandchildren couldn’t pay off.
• Championed the hardworking men and women of our great country and put 5 million Americans back to work raising wages across racial .
• Gave Americans the right to live in safety, dignity, prosperity and peace.
• Supported law and order and defended our police.
• Reduced the cost of prescription drugs and created price transparency for shoppable medical services.
• Protected Medicare for older Americans
• Got rid of the individual mandate from Obamacare.

You:

• Never wavered in defense of our values, our families, our traditions and our freedoms.
• Had the inner strength to stand by your convictions regardless of the pressure and fierce, relentless adversity applied by so many.
• Were not a politician.
• Inspired all walks of life.
• Apologized to no one for America’s greatness.
• Brought us individual liberty and limited government.
• Stood against the corruption in Washington.
