Betty L. Kramer, age 91, of Linton passed away at 10:15 P.M. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Glenburn Home in Linton. She was born on June 20, 1927 to Ernest Gilbert Clark and Ola May (Auten) Clark.She was a 1945 graduate of Linton High School. She received her Bachelor and Masters Degree in Elementary Education at Indiana State University and retired after a wonderful 35 years of teaching. She enjoyed family visits, Bingo, playing cards, reading and giving and receiving special occasion cards. She was a member of Shepherd Hills Methodist Church in both New Palestine, IN and Sun City West, AZ and the Order of the Eastern Star Morristown, Indiana Chapter.Betty and Morris moved to Sun City West, Arizona after they both retired. She married Morris R. Kramer in 1952 and he preceded her in death on September 7, 1999. She moved back to Indiana in 2013.She is survived by her brother-in-law, Donald (Frederica) L. Kramer of Lewis; nieces and nephews, Brett Kramer of Linton, Gary (Marilyn) Kramer of Jasonville, Tanya Lancaster of Terre Haute, Jeffrey Kramer of Indianapolis and Laura Kramer of Linton; great nieces and great nephews, Kent Kramer, Chelsey Skinner, Kyle Kramer and Kurt Kramer and 9 great great nieces and nephews.Betty is preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, David Kramer and sister-in-law, Vivian Kramer.A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine, IN.Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation through the funeral home.
