Do you love to sing and enjoy harmony? Simply A cappella Chorus, chapter of Sweet Adelines International for more than 25 years, is seeking new members.

“We are a competitive chorus — not big but mighty, looking to grow,” according to a release. “Over the years, we have won several medals with this year gaining two. Our 20-some members produce an outstanding sound with four -part harmony. With our talented director, Wendi Young, our friendly bunch of ladies, all ages, share the joy of singing and entertaining too.”

The choir has had annual shows, special holiday performances and Oktoberfest celebrations with another coming up on Oct. 22 in Apache Wells Community.

“Our harmonies are beautiful with a variety of songs consisting of ballads, show-tunes, holiday and novelty numbers. Some songs include light choreography which adds to the entertaining,” the release states. “What can be better than satisfying the soul with music? So, come visit us. We are looking forward to more new faces to share our love of music.”

Rehearsals are 7-9:30 p.m. Thursdays at Apache Wells Community Center’s Maricopa Room, 2215 N. 56th St. (north of McKellips) in Mesa.
